İsmail Şahin & Oğuz Düzgün – Socio-Economic Effects of the Forced Migration in Turkey From the Middle East: Between 1979-2014 Abstract People have had to leave the place where they live or has been forced to leave because of the reasons such as wars, internal conits and natural disasters. Thus, in order to explain this situation, the concept of immigrant has emerged and it has included the opposite meaning of optional migration, which is called voluntary migration. Turkey is located in the middle of Europe, Asia, and Africa continents as a natural bridge. In recent years it has continued unabated migration. In addition, generally, the impacts of the Middle East-oriented forced immigration on Turkey in terms of socially and economically will be described.
