
Abstract
The case of military intervention means breaking the basic principle of state
sovereignty that it is considered an illegal act in international law. Use of force
in international relations is possible if the threat to international peace and
security.
The main purpose of United Nations is to keep international peace and
security. In this way, to take agreed regulations that enable providing the
continuity of peace. The use of force is prohibited excluding a few exceptional
cases in the United Nations Charter. Under the United Nations Charter, the use
of force and military intervention is decided and managed by the Security
Council.
